Mid-June — the trend we’re wearing this week is the “pure-feminine (청순) skirt look.”
I (Siwol) went with a white flare midi skirt and a ribbon blouse; Claudie chose a white lace-up midi skirt with a cream silky blouse. Both of us stayed in the white-cream palette — yet the vibes are completely different. That contrast is the whole point of today’s post.
🌸 This Week’s Trend — Pure-Feminine Skirt Look
Vogue Korea released “7 Skirt Trends for 2026.” After the extremes of micro-minis and maxi lengths, pleated and flare midi skirts are back in the spotlight. The core formula: white/cream/pastel palette + romantic detailing.
Our product catalog confirms it — over 156 skirt entries in stock, with white, ivory, and cream flare/midi/pleated styles leading the charge. Blouse pairings and Mary Jane or ribbon-flat shoes are trending alongside them.
On Seoul streets, Ballet Core and Coquette energy is being absorbed into a distinctly Korean “pure feminine” mood, with ribbon, puff sleeves, and lace-up details emerging as the defining accents.
Flare/pleated skirt + ribbon or puff blouse + ribbon flats or Mary Janes = a pure-feminine look that never misses. Narrow the color down to one — white, cream, or a single pastel — and the overall polish goes up instantly.
👗 Siwol’s Look — Flare Midi Skirt, Pure Romantic

My choice is “maximum purity.” White skirt, white blouse — an all-white setup with ribbon detailing in two spots: the blouse ribbon strings and the shoe ribbon. Understated, but unmistakably pure-feminine.
The Emily Midi Flare Skirt lands just below the knee — easy to walk in, and when sunlight hits the flare, it fans out beautifully. The way it moves in a summer breeze is the whole aesthetic.
Styling tip: the half tuck-in. Tucking just a hand’s-width of the blouse front into the waistband dramatically improves proportions. Leaving the back untucked creates that “half tuck-in” — pure and polished at the same time.

✨ Claudie’s Look — Lace-Up Midi Skirt, Tailored Pure-Feminine

The defining feature of Claudie’s look is the lace-up detail. Glonny’s midi skirt has a front lace-up closure with ribbon strings. On white fabric, that one element does all the work — pure-feminine in color, but just interesting enough to avoid being plain.
On top: a cream silky boat-neck blouse. The boat neck opens up the shoulder line beautifully, and the silky fabric adds a subtle sheen to the pure-feminine mood. The shoes are black Mary Jane flats — one black accent grounding an all-white-cream look is exactly the right contrast.
Styling tip: the black shoe contrast. Adding black Mary Janes to a white-cream outfit creates visual weight at the foot and makes the whole look feel “finished.” If you worry that pure-feminine reads too young, this pairing is the fix.
Tie the front strings snugly when you first put the skirt on so they don’t loosen throughout the day. Don’t cinch too tight — leave about two fingers’ worth of room at the waist. If the lace-up starts to look slack, the pure-feminine mood softens, so a quick mid-day check is worth it.

💡 Pure-Feminine Skirt Styling Guide
Three principles we both landed on after wearing these looks:
- One or two colors, max. White only, or white plus cream. A single color lets the details shine. Adding more colors dilutes the pure-feminine mood fast.
- One ribbon/lace/puff accent only. Stack all three and it reads over-the-top. I used two ribbons today, but the blouse ribbon is small and the shoe ribbon sits at the foot — visual weight stays separated, not stacked.
- Shoes: go full match or go full contrast. Siwol’s approach: white shoes for total color unity. Claudie’s approach: one black shoe for a grounding accent. An ambiguous beige-in-between does neither well.
White skirts can become see-through in direct sunlight. Wearing an inner slip is strongly recommended. Flare skirts in particular can catch the wind, so check the opacity before a summer outing. White fabric is also prone to yellowing after washing — wash separately, use a mild detergent, and keep the water temperature at or below 30 °C.

✅ Wrap-Up
The pure-feminine skirt look has a lower barrier to entry than you’d expect. One white or cream skirt plus a top with a single ribbon, puff, or lace-up detail and you’re already halfway there.
My personal pick (Siwol) is the flare midi, hands down. That gentle flutter when you walk feels exactly right for summer. Claudie said she loved the lace-up detail — “it keeps the look from being boring,” in her words.
Next week we’ll try on another trend. Check the Fashion category for updates.
